December Newsletter

News and Special Happenings:
The Christmas Concert will take place on December 11/12. If your child attends 4 sessions per week then s/he will participate in both concerts. Please RSVP by signing the sheets in the hallway or by emailing Holly so that we know how many chairs to put out in the gym. Class times are listed below:

Sunshine Room morning classes: 9:40-10:00
Sunshine Room afternoon classes: 1:10-1:30
Rainbow Room morning classes: 11:10-11:30
Rainbow Room afternoon classes: 2:40-3:00

Thank you:
Bethesda House Collection Campaign: On December 12, a representative from Bethesda House will come in to pick up the items we have collected. Pajamas, slippers, personal care items, toys, hats/mitts/socks and gift cards are all needed.

Toonie Costume Fundraiser: Together we raised $250.00 for Sick Kids Foundation! A donation was made on November 6 to the Child Life Toy and Game Fund.

Reminders:
Adults and children should take off wet footwear downstairs on the main floor before coming up to class. Label your child’s boots to avoid mix-ups! You can either leave your child’s boots in the lobby beside their name card or carry them upstairs and place them under their coat on the mat.

Parking: Thank you for your patience when trying to find a parking spot. Be sure to park legally to avoid receiving a ticket. A resident on Church street has asked that I remind parents not to block or partially block the driveways on the street; it makes it difficult for them to get in and out. We will continue to do our best to help in any way we can.

Email communication: The newsletter, calendar and menu are emailed to all parents monthly. Notifications of reportable illnesses are sent as needed. If you have given the school an email address but have not been receiving any of these group communications please advise.

School closure for Christmas holidays:
The School is closed December 23-January 3. We are back to school on Monday, January 6, 2020.
Christmas is a busy time at nursery school! We will assist your child in creating a special keepsake for you! Best wishes for good health and happiness this Christmas season.
